1955 Ford Pop hot rod

A 1955 Ford Popular hot rod with a 3-litre Ford V6 squeezed in. It had not run for over ten years.

The rebuilt engine was started live on the channel: four hours of fuel, spark and patience before it fired. Then it went to the rolling road to be set up properly. It has since moved on.

  1. Spring 2021In the workshop. The 3-litre V6 comes out and gets rebuilt on the stand, with Tony doing the spannering.
  2. June 2021The rebuilt V6 fires up, live on the channel.
  3. Summer 2021Back together and out on the road, filling up at the pumps.
